My background is graphic design, but I’ve been enjoying taking photos all of my life. My life has always revolved around creating visual moments. When I got hold of a camera as a teenager I fell in love. But it wasn’t until I became a mom, July of 2006, that I got really serious and the photo bug became a driving passion. The act of taking photos for me is one of connecting with people and the environment that I photograph. It’s such a joy to be able to capture these images for people. I try to approach each photography session without preconceived notions of how things “should” look and find that it opens me up to discovering fabulous “unscripted” moments. Time flies by so quickly, and being able have wonderful photos to document life is an absolute treat.

When I am taking photos of kids my mantra is “stay low and go with the flow”. Besides posting photos that I’ve taken, I will often post tips on my approach and sometimes with specific on how I shoot to achieve a certain result.
