Turning Three is Hard Work!

My dear friend Elizabeth put on the cutest party for her adorable son Quinn who was turning three. Sometimes my very favorite pictures from kids birthdays (or any photo sessions) are not always the smiley ones – I like the mix of introspective, intense feelings that young kids don’t yet edit away – the intense anticipation of the cake, the cake, the excitement of seeing friends, all of the little guys busy, busy, busy.
